RAMBLERS CRICKET CLUB
Mr E, McNeil was elected president for the ensuing year at the annual meeting held on Wednesday evening last. Opening day has been fixed for October 5. A practice match between club members is to be held when a friendly game with Queenstown will follow. Subscription rates were fixed at 10s and all bus fares irrespective of destination are to be ladies ss, gentlemen 7s Gd. The following office-bearers were appointed;— President, Mr E. McNeill; patron, Mr H. Wheatley; vice-presidents —Messrs P. Dougherty, J. Thomson, T. Battin, D. Fuller, W. Smith, L. Lindsay, G. McMillan, L. G. Pettigrew, W. Thompson, R. Robertson, S. Ryan, T. Sanders, F. Sanders, A. Munro; secretary,. A. Curtis; captain, L. Fordo; vicecaptain, V. McMillan.
