QUEENSTOWN ROTARY CLUB

Padre Williams, who leaves shortly for Lawrence, was farewelled by the Queenstown Rotary Club at its meeting last week. In the absence of the president, Rotarian R. Robin, Rotarian B. Yercoe, vice-president, presided. Rotarian Yercoe made appropriate reference to the good service rendered to Rotary by the padre. The overseas toast was given by Rotarian Grant Forbes. Several visiting rotarians were welcomed. The speaker was W. D. Warren who gave impressions of Wellington, gained by a lengthy sojourn in the capital city.
