School Children’s Ski-ing Competition At Coronet Peak

An impromptu ski-ing competition for school children "ook place on the Coronet Peak ski field last week-end. The snow was in excellent condition and many of the young enthusiasts made remarkably good runs. Results are: Senior. —Miss P. Spencer, 56 3-ssec and 34 2- aggregate, 91sec, 6. Intermediate—Miss Y. Coxhead, 18 3- and 18 l-ssec; aggregate, 36 4-5 sec, 1; Mr D. Coxhead, 23 4-ssec and 16 2-ssec; aggregate, 40 l-ssec, 2. The prizes were donated by townspeople and the formal presentation of same was made by Mrs Gibsbn in Eichardt’s Hotel.
