GIRLS' SPORTS CLUB

PLAYS TO BE PRESENTED

Into rest in drama in this district has been revived by the visit of Mr George Worthington, a tutor from Canterbury University College on loan to Otago. Under his expert guidance a group of players, organised on the initiative of the Girls’ Sports Club, has studied fourone act comedies —“ Orange Blossom,” ■“ Far, Far Away,” “ tHeaven On Earth,” and “ Gossip’s Glory.” These will be presented on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, in the GARRISON HALL, at 8 p.m. This venture merits public support as the further development of this type of entertainment will mean much to the district.
