Mrs C. Lawrence, Te Arolia, and Miss Joan JXodson, Cromwell, are quests of Mr and Mrs A. M. Ritchie. * * * Mr and Mrs J. Henderson, jun., and daughter Jill have returned from Invercargill. * * * Mr H. C. Smith returned to Dunedin on Monday after spending a short holiday with his parents. * * * Misses Zoc Walker, and Margaret Paterson returned home from Waitaki High School to spend the holidays with their parents. , * * * Miss Leslie McLean, Southland Girls’ High School, is spending holidays with her parents. * * * Mr and Mrs G. Stevenson, Mosgiel, were visitors to Arrowtown fed' the Watt —Allan wedding. * * * Mr and Mrs E. B. Taylor and family left - for Outram on Wednesday morning- * * * Mr and Mrs W. Hore and family, Queenstown arrived at Arrowtown during the week. Mr Hore took over the position of Post Master on Tuesday of last week. * # * Miss Ruth Patton, Gore High School, is spending holidays with her parents. Mrs T. Lawrence, Bannockburn, is visiting her daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs A. M. Ritchie.
