INTER-SCHOOL SPORTS

Cromwell Outplays Queenstown On Wednesday, the 13th, the Queenstown District High School travelled to Cromwell to play a return game of football and basketball. The day was very warm, and the football playing area was in' excellent order. Two basketball teams instead of the usual one made the journey. The first game before lunch was fast and accurate with Cromwell winning by 18 goals to !». The second game was played after lunch and this was also won by Cromwell with a score of C to 2. Football Because of the lack of Queenstown players in the football a seveu-a-side match was arranged, Cromwell winning by 16 to nil. After this game two fifteens were picked from the Cromwell and Queenstown boys. A fast and exciting game resulted. The refreshments supplied by the Cromwell pupils ware of the usual high standard.
