Win for Queenstown School Sports Teams

Queenstown primary school teams beat Arrowtown School teams in both football and basketball matches played at Arrowtown last Friday. Queenstown won the football by 12 points to nil, and the basketball by 12 points to 6.

Warwick Jenkins, captain, spoke on behalf of the Arrowtown football team, Mick Lonsdale for Queenstown, M. Swann for the Arrow basketball, and J. Mills for Queenstown. : Afternoon tea was supplied by the parents.

The referee for the football was Mr Payne, and for the basketball Mias McAlister, Queenstown.
