Owing to the conditions of the playing areas no matches were played in the district last Saturday. Country was to have met Arrowtown at Arrowtown, and this match will bo played this coming Saturday. The star game of the season should be witnessed next Saturday on the local ground, when a team selected from past players will tussle with the present Queenstown side. In past years this game, has always provided the spectators with plenty of thrills and this game should be no ’exception with the talent which the selectors have at their disposal.
