Boyd returned on Friday evening. ft ft Mrs J. Gilkison, of Dunedin, has been the guest of Mrs M. Low, Eastern terrace. * * * Miss Betty Hales of Christchurch, is paying her parents, Mr and Mrs W. Hales, a visit. *' * * Mr and Mrs G. W. Howard of Dunedin, are the guests of Mr and Mrs E. C. Nelson, of the Wakatipu Courts. Mr and Mrs Alan Inglis have returned from a holiday spent in the Nelson district. * ■* ft Mr and Mrs D. Whelan and Miss H. Whelan of Dunedin, arc visitors to Queenstown. * ft ■* Mrs J. Lynch, Brunswick street, has returned home after spending a holiday in Dunedin. ft ft ft Mrs Keith McGowan, of Timaru, has been the guest of Mrs G. McMillan, Gorge road. ft ‘ . ft Mr E. H. Battin has resumed duties after a holiday spent in the North Island. ft # ft Miss Joan Thompson visited Invercargill during the week. She was the guest of Mr and Mrs J. Lyons. * ft ft Mrs J, E. Home, accompanied by Miss Bonnie Home and Mr Douglas Badeock, have left for Invercargill on a short visit. ft ft ' ft Mr A. G. Wigley was a visitor to Queenstown during the last week. Mr Wigley, who is a proficient skier, was on the sticks.
