WAKATIPU DAIRY FACTORY

Mr M. Elliott, chairman of directors, presided at the monthly meeting held in the factory office on July 8. Those present were, Messrs E. Shaw, J. Summers, A. Eeid, J. McEntyre, A. Jackways and E. Paterson. Considerable discussion was devoted to the amount of bonus to be paid and on the motion of Mr J. Summers, seconded by Mr A. Reid, it was decided to pay a bonus of 3-Jd. This makes the total payout for the season Is lid. against Is 74d last year.

1947-48 Season Mr J. McEntyre moved and Mr J. Summers seconded that “ a supplier not supplying all his milk to the factory should not receive any bonus.”

Mr E. C. Paterson moved and Mr E. Shaw seconded that a 5 per cent, dividend be paid to the shareholders. Mr J. McEntyre moved as an amendment, which was seconded by Mr M. Elliott, that a dividend of 24 per cent, be paid. On being put to the meeting the amendment was carried.
