Pursuant to Section 54 of the Rating Act, 1935, and Amendments thereto, PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake County Council, at its next meeting to be held on the 10th day of July, 1947, intends to make and levy the following rates for the year commencing Ist April, 1947, and ending 31st March, 1948. Pursuant to the Counties’ Act, 1920, (Section 120), a GENERAL RATE of 2-fd (twopence and three-eighths of a penny) in the £ on Capital Value. Pursuant to the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Acpt, 1926 (Section 52), a HOSPITAL RATE of gd (threeeighths of a penny) in £ on Capital Value. Bo'th rates to be levied upon the rateable Capital Value of all rateable property within the County of Lake, and shall become payable in one sum on the 25th day of August, 1947.
