OBITUARY

Mrs Christina Harber The death occurred on Wednesday last of Mrs Christina Harber, Peninsula street, Queenstown, in her sixty-ninth year, relict of the late James Harber. Born at Bullendale, she was a member of an early pionering family, her parents being the late Alex, and Christina Olsen. Mrs Harber was of a very reserved disposition. A most skilful knitter, she was an ardent worker the the Red Cross and other organisations, in their knitting efforts up to the time of her death. She is survived by one brother, Mr J. Olsen, who resides at 73 Shetland street, Kaikorai, Dunedin, and three sisters, Mrs J. Hood and A. H. McLean, Queenstown, and Mrs W. Murphy, Arrowtown. The interment took place at the Queenstown Cemetery on Wednesday. A large number of beautiful floral tributes adorned the casket.
