BUYING A “PUP.”
“To purchase of a calf dozer, £575,” was an item in the accounts of Billericay Council. Inquirers were informed that a “calfdozer” is a small bulldozer. FISH FORTUNE. Jung Chao, of Canton, caught a fish and became wealthy. Inside it were four diamond rings, later identified as from the lingers of Admiral Yamamoto, the Japanese, shot down at sea in 1943.
