TABLE TENNIS
Members of the Arrow Table Tennis Club travelled by car to Alexandra on Wednesday, May 21, to compete against two teams at Alexandra. On arrival they were met by the President of the Alexandra Club who extended to them a very warm welcome. A cup of tea was enjoyed before the commencement of play, &nd at the conclusion of the games the visitors were entertained at supper by the Alexandra members, following which a dance was held. Mr. J. Henderson, President of the Arrow Club thanked the Alexandra members for having them down, and looked forward to the Alexandra members returning the visit to Arrowtown very shortly. He said it was always good experience meeting another Club, and was quite sure that all the Arrowtown rriembers had benefited from the visit. The President of the Alexandra Club, Mr. Hiekie, thanked Mr. Henderson for his kind remarks, and said how pleased the Alexandra members had been to meet the Arrowtown Club.
