THEATRE— ' Wednesdays and Saturdays Si/turday night next—Unusual story,
i 0 "Civilian Clothes'," with Thos. Meighan (leading a strong cast of characters. This , is not a war play, but a comedy-drama 7 of a very entertaining order. It shows in adelightful manner how a girl was cured ~ „of her snobbishness. "A woman, a hound j^tif and a walnut tree, the,more you beat 'em ¥* Xjpe fetter they be." There are also good supporting pictures. — Next Wednesday Viola Dana will be seen in a big Metro special, "The Off-shore Pirate." Also, a Christie comedy, the serial ("Great '■ Gamble"), etc. An attractive programme. A really good programme was presented last night before a fair attendance, considering the boisterious weather. The accompanying tuneful music was provided by piano and violin. After the pictures a waltzing competition took „ place. Results : Ladies, Ist Mrs Smith, HV^f&id Miss V. Geldard ; gentlemen, Ist Mr '"* Geldard, 2nd Mr D. Vercoe.
