CLUITT—DOWLING
St. Alban's Church, Dominion Road, Auckland, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on October 3rd, when Annie, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs James Powluitf, ofDargaville, was married to Mr Harry J. Cluitt, of Auckland. Rev. Wingfield officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a very pretty bridal frock of white crepe-de-chine, embroidered with white beads. She wore a tulle veil and orange blossoms, and carried a .shower bouquet of pale pink and •white flowers. Miss Kate Dowling acted a« bridesmaid, and wore a charming froclc of lemon crepe-de-Ghine, embroidered with royal blue, and hat to match, She carried a shower bouquet of fresias and cornflowers. Mr Percy Johnson, of Auckland, acted as best man
A reception was afterwards held at the residence of the bride's sister, Mrs Percy Hanson, King's Road, Mt. Roskill, when about forty guests -sat down to a dainty breakfast. The tables were decorated with silver vases and lemon and royal blue flowers. The "bride's travelling costume was navy blue serge; with this was vyoi'ti a smart royal bjue and nigger brown hat, and black furs.
