Wairoa; ' F. Furguson, Hokianga; S. Fatt, Wai- /' roa ; C. Griffin, Bay of Islands. Of the 19 players selected, Whangarei has 7, N. Wairoa 4, Kaipara, Hokianga and Bay of Islands 2 each, and Marigonui and Otamatea 1 representative ea.ch in the combination. \ '
The team as above is undoubtedly a very strong one, and Mr Weston must be congratulated upon the choice. He had plenty of forwards to choose from, and the fact that men like E. Harding and T. Brady of Northern Wairoa, Manuka of Manuka of Mangonui, Emerson and some others could not gain inclusion,cl°arlyindicates that the vanguard will be'a most, powerful one.
