WEDDING

SHEELY—BRADLY.

A wecTdirtg of considerable local interest was solemnised by Rev Father Lynch at St. Joseph's Church, Helensville, on Ist in.st., when Mr John Sheely, of Taumarunui, K.C., was united in matrimony to Miss Teresa Bradly, second daughter of Mrs and the late Jas. Bradly, of* Ohirangi. The bride, who was given away by her brother (Mr J. Bradly, of Gisborne), was attired in a dress of cream paillette silk, with an overdress of rich lace. She wore the usual veil, and wreath of orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet. The bride was attended by her two sisters, wlio wore crepe-de-chine dresses and panne velvet hats with henna trimmings. The bridesmaids'gifts were pretty sold brooches. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Dynan as best man and Mr Finn as groomsman. After the ceremony the happy couple and guests motored to Springside House, where they sat down to a sumptuous breakfast arranged by Mrs Eddleston, and where the usual toasts were duly honoured. The couple, who were the recipients of many costly presents, left by the evening tram en route to Wellington, amid good cheers and showers of confetti. The bride's travelling costume was a sage green ga'rbadine, with black velor hat, and set of furs the gift of the bridegroom.
