SOLDIERS' MEMORIAL COMMITTEE MEETING.
At the above meeting last evening, the following were present : -Mesdanies J. A. Wilson, N. \\. Rimmer, J. F. Lambert, jnr,, Messrs Jas. Stewart (chairman^ M. Matheson, C. H. Spinley, R. Screaton, W. Downer, Jas McLeod, J. F. Lambert, jnr., and W. *. F. Raisher, - (hon. secretary.) The minutes of previous meeting were . comfirmed. Messrs N. W. Rimmer, R. Screaton, J. F. Lambert, jnr., and C. H. Spinier were added to the committee. A. notice of motion by Mr Hill lapsed, the proposer not being present. It was agreed to ask Mr N. W. Rimmer to canvass for subscriptions in Parakai and Parkhurst; Mr Screaton and Mr James Stewart undertook to do TePuaand Woodhill. Mr Stewart also will canvass from the Railway Station to ' corner of Eighth avenue, via Garfield Road and Commercial Road to Post Office.
