Prices for beef at the Wentfield fat stock sales yesterday showed a further decrease ab compfred with recent rates. At last week's sales there was a drop cf about Is per 1001b., choice ox beef realising £3 3s per 1001b. Yesterday extra choice ox fetched £3 showing a further decrease of 3s per 1001b. Other grades realised from £1 10s to £2 17s per 1001b., according to quality. Mutton. values showed no decline, Wethers in the wool realised from £1 15» to £2 9s 3d, shorn wethers £1 10s to £2 6s 6df ewes in the wool £1 13s J;o £2 ss, shorn ewes £1 9s to £1 11s, shorn hoggets £1 7s to £1 10s, lambs £1 5s to £2 5s 3d. Pigs sold well, baconers and choppers realising from £6 5s to £9 7s.
