ROLL CLOSES TUESDAY,
A FINAL reminder is necessary to all residents who have not yet attended to the matter of being enrolled. Residential qualifications entitle all those over 21 years of age who have resided in the town district for three months, and in the Dominion for one year, to a vote. Tuesday next, at 3 p.m., is the time of closing the supplementary roll. Nominations for candidates for the forthcoming election close on Wednesday. September Bth, at noon. So far no definite announcements have been made by intending candidates, but quite a number of business men and residents have been mentioned as likely to stand. We understand that all the present members are •eeking re-election. As Has been done in previous years, the candidates will no doubt engage one of the local halls, and from the public platform detail their individual policies in regard to management and expenditure in connection with Town Board affairs for the ensuing two years.
