KAIPARA RUGBY UNION.

The postponed annual meeting of the above was held on Saturday evening last. Delegates were present from Kaukapakapa, the Maoris and Helensville. Mr Bellini was voted to the chair. The minutes were tabled until next meeting. The balance sheet was submitted by the secretary, and adopted. The following officers were elected: Patron, Hon. J. G. Coates, M.P. ; president, Mr Jas. Stewart; vice-presidents, Messrs H. H. Hooper, J. Constable and J. Cohen ; secretary, Mr L. Sykes ; treasurer, Mr M. Matheson ; trustees, Messrs Bellini and J. X Stewart; management committee, Messrs Mouatt, Sykes, Hill, and Garry ; chairman for the year, Mr Bellini; referees, Messrs Mouatt, J. McBride, Downer, Cooper, Logan McLeod and Abrahams.

The union resolved to pay referees' travelling expenses.

Kaukapakapa was instructed to place a man on gate to collect admission for all matches played there.

The secretary was instructed to arrange a Married v. Single match for Saturday next, July 17th, proceeds to be devoted to Sister Esther fund.

It was decided to employ labour to erect goal posts on the Show Grounds.

It was decided that the secretary and Mr Mouatt canvass town for subscriptions towards getting a trophy for competition play.

A vote of thanks to the chair concluded the meeting.
