KAUKAPAKAPA v. MAORIS.

The above game was played at Helensville and resulted in a win for Kaukapakapa by 11 points to nil. The winners were a much lighter team than their opponents, but had the advantage of a good deal more combination. The Maori* stuck gamely to it till the finish, and with a bit of coaching should give a good account of themselves. For the winners Naughton, Blackwell, and Drinnan scored, aud Mcßride converted the first try. Mr Mouatt, who capably refereed, had to caution one or two players.
