ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of the above will be held in the Farmers Union Board-room on Monday evening next, May 17th. Lhe last occasion on which the meeting was called resulted in about 13 members attending A quorum of 20 is necessary before the annual meeting can be held and the Executive are hoping that there are at least 20 or more members who are sufficiently interested in the Association not to let the meeting again lapse. lne farming community are ..©specially appealed to to attend Jhis meeting. The first attempt at an annual meeting (aboveb mentioned) was attended by two • representatives from off the flat — truly a poor effort, when a big proportion of the members belong there. The sooner the annual meeting is disposed of, and officials elected for the ensuing twelve months, the better chance and more time will the Executive have to get things going for the next annual show.
