TO MEMBERS OF NEW ZEALAND EXPEDITIONARY FORCES. NOTICE RE GENERAL ELECTION AND LICENSING POLL. 1. Every person (not being a military defaulter or disqualified from voting by section 38 of the Legislature Act, If 08) who has served beyond the seas as. a member of an Expeditionary Force is entitled to vote at the General Election and the Licensing Poll, whether he is registered as an elector or not. Maori members of an Expeditionary Force are entitled to vote at the General Election for the election of Maori members only, but are entitled to vote at the Licensing Poll. 2. Members who are enrolled as electors are subject in all respects to the provisions applicable to ordinary electors, except that they may vote beyond the boundaries of the district for which they are registered without being required to produce an absent voter's permit on production of the documentary evidence referred to in the paragraph following. 3. Members who are not enrolled as electors, or who, being so enrolled, desire to vote outside their district -without an absent voter's permit, must produce at the polling-place documentary evidence that they have served beyond the seas as meml-rs of an Expeditionary Force. Any of the following classes of documents will be accepted as sufficient:— (a) A certificate of discharge from the Expeditionary Force after service beyond the seas ; or (b) A leave certificate, hospital certificate, or other status certificate issued by a competent military authority. 4. Any member who is not enrolled as an elsctor may vote as an elector of — (a) The electoral district (as existing at the date of the election) within which he was a resident at the date of his first becoming a member of an Expeditionary Force ; or (b) Any electoral district within which he has resided for not less than one month since his last return to New Zealand from service beyond the seas. A second express train will leave Auckland for Wellington at 1.0 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, arriving Wellington at 6.45 a.m. next morning. A second express train will leave Wellington for Auckland at 8.35 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, arriving Auckland at 2.55 p.m. the following day. AUCKLAND—RANGANUI. An express train will leave Auckland for Ranganui at 8.25 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, arriving Rauganui 12.40 p.m. An express train will leave Auckland for Helensville at 8.25 a.m. on Saturdays, arriving Helensville at 10.7 a.m. An express train will leave Rangauui for Auckland at 12.20 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving Auckland 4.40 p.m. The morning, and evening trains between Helensville and Kaukapakapa will run on Fridays and Saturdays, instead of Fridays only. The 7.20 a.m. train Auckland to Helensville will leave Auckland at 7.0 a.m. The 3.15 p.m. train Auckland to Helensville will not leave Auckland till 4.5 p.m. This train will not stop at Kingslund, Morningside, Mt. Albert, New Lynn or Waikumete The 6.50 a.m. train Helensville to Auckland will leave Helensville at 7.0 a.m. This train will not stop at" Waikumete, New Lynn, Mt. Albert, Morningside or Kingsland. The 4J2 p.m. train Helenaville to Auckland will leave Helensville at 4.10 p.m. This train will not stop at Waikumete, New Lynn, Mt. Albert, Morningside or Kingsland. BY ORDER. NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS.
