Cattle including dairy cows 4g0,517 Pigs ... ... 30,051 Sheep shprn season 1918-19 754,109 Number of lambs tailed ... 292,156 Sheep, including lambs, as at 30th April, 19.19, ..'. 728,015 In the nuniber of horsos North Auckland stood^ fifth on the list, in dairy cows fourth, b,eins beaten by Auckland with 176,377, Taranaki 144,909, and Welliigton 129,398. In cattle and pigs also fourth, but in sheep only Westland and Nelson districts had less.
