The Farmers* Co-op. Auctioneering Co. report on sale of hides, calfskins, tallow, rabbit skins, etc., ds follows : —
Hides: Ox, medium to 12d, light ll^d to 12d, damaged 10% d ; cow, best lO^d, rough 10^d. damaged 7d to 8d; kips best lOd to 12d ; calf, best to 23d, small 20d, meaty 19d, dirty 14d.
Tallow : Broken packages, 60/- cwt Bones: £8 5s per ton.
Rabbit skins: Well stretched winter skins, 5/6 lb; badly shaped and badly stretched skins, to 2/,.
Horse hair, Ijs\i to l/7Hd. Skeepskins: At Government requisition rates.
