LONDON WOOL SALES.

The manager of the Bank of New Zealand reports : —We have received the following advice from London, under date 23rd August: The sales have closed arm for all kiuds of wool, with an active demand by all branches of the trade. The market is strong for fine and medinm crossbreds and all descriptions of merino. Prices for fine crossbred and merino are higher l\i to 10%. Medium crossbred is from par to 5% higher. The market for coarse crossbred is weak and prices are lower from par to 5%. Other wools do not show any change.
