FOOTBALL COMPETITIONS.
The following table showing the state of the senior teams in the Kaipara Rugby Union competition has been supplied to us by the secretary, Mr L. Sykes :— Toam Played Won Lost Points Helensville 7 7 0 14 Maoris .7 3 4 G Kaukapafcapa 7 2 5 4 Waimauku 5 14 2 Helensville defeated Maoris on Saturday last by 2[ points to 9. A good game, though fairly rough at times. ! Helonsville have now won the comj petitiojj beyond dispute. A match with Waimauku has been arranged for Saturday, to take place at Waimauku, and it is hoped, from a purely sporting point of view, that a team will turn up to travel.
