The Savage Club Choir held a concert on Sunday night at Springside House, Parakai, when a large number of visitors to the Springs and friends from Helensville spent a most enjoyable time. The concert was every bit as good as the one given on Saturday night, and did not terminate till nearly midnight.

The social held under the auspices of the Kaipara Rugby Union on Thursday evening last, was very successful, the forty couples present spending a most enjoyable time. Good music and a first-class hand round supper was provided. The Union are very pleased with the result, and it is . their intention to hold another social later on, if a suitable date is available,

Thanks are due to the citizens and settlers of the district who lent their cars and their own time for the purpose of conveying memberd of the Savage Club to and from the Springs. The job was a a heavy one, as at least half-a--dozen trips had to be made by each car during the week-end. Some of the cars were late arriving at the station on Saturday evening, but that was due to a most unusual occurrence—the train was nearly ten minutes early !

A short meeting of the Domain Board was held on Thursday evening.
