The Fields Division—(s) 12lbs of carrots qt apples finely chopped will take loss of strychnine .finely ground. Sprinkle over this also about £lb of white sugar, and allow to soak about four hours. Lay in the evening. (9) Yes. (3) Strychnine as a poison affects the whole blood sj.stem, and dogs would probably be affected, if not poisoned, by eating the carcases. Phosphorized pollard or grain affects the stomach mainly, and if the entrails are removed from carcases these can be safely given to dogs.
