A largely attended meeting was held in the Lyric Theatre on Tuesday evening, and it was decided to form a Rugby Union Football Club in Helensville,
Officers were ' follows:—
elected as
President —Mr A. Bishop. Vice - Presidents —Messrs J Constable, J, Stewart, and A. J, Garry.
Committee—Messrs W. Mouatt, T. F. Cooper, M. Noda, A. Larsen, W. Catleton, W. Martin P. King, G. Matheson, and A. Hunter. Secretary—Mr J. A. Sturgeon. The meeting dealt at length with Various proposals in regard to grounds, etc.
A practice match will be held on Saturday, May 3rd., at 3 p.m., and all players and intending players are reqnested to roll up,
