THE WATER SUPPLY.
Mr Munro Wilson visited HelensvilU lait Thursday to inspect the reservoir, witk a view to preparing estimates for an additional storage dam.
The Board have taken in hand the fencing of the. catchment area, and a beginning will alsQ be made in the planting of the watershed with trees, the draining of swamps, and the grassing of the clay portions which have been a gource of trouble in the past.
Although there has been an increased demand for water this season, the supply has kept up exceedingly well.
