LYRIC PICTURES. ,THE Management of the Lyric Pictures'have much pleasure in announcing to their numerous patrons that on and after Tuesday, April 8, they will receive their programmes almost immediately after their being screened at the Strand Theatre, Auckland. This means that we have been advanced from 6 to 9 months earlier on our circuit, and our patrons will reap the /advantage in brighter, newer and better pictures. We have only been able to do this by going to considerable extra/expense, but it has always been our/aim to supply our patrons with the/ best pictures and the newest in artists. A glance at this Week's advertisements will confirm this, no less than three artists who are new to Helensville appearing on our programmes, f We take this opportunity of thanking' our patrons for their past support,/ and hope for an increased patronage under the new regime. LYRIC PICTURES. APOLOGY. I beg to tender my sincere regret for having published a letter signed by John Patrick Hand, in the KAIPARA AND WaITEMATA ECHO of October 3, 1918, to James H. Osborna, farm manager of Helensville, the contents of which were libelous, and I apologise to the said Ja"rnes H. Osborne for any mental worry the letter may have caused him. F. MACKENZIE.
