"Crops that helped to save England," is the heading given by " Current History " to a news item which states that information collected on June 4th last shows that the total arable area in England and Wales in 1918 was 12,398,730 acres, representing an increase of 1,152,620 acres, or 10] per cent over the arable area of 1917.
