HELENSVILLE QUEEN WINS. NOT a little excitement was evinced on Thursday afternoon last when it was announced that the Helens ville Queen (Miss Jean Stewart) had won County honours, having £2723 to her credit. Helensville's quota was set down at £2000. and this amount was well exceeded. Both Mairetahi and Kaukapakapa Ridings also did exceedingly well, in fact, the whole district may well be proud of their effort. Particulars in regard to the crowning will be published later.
