COUNTY OF WAITEMATA. NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the Waitemata County Council will be held at the Council Chambers, 410 New Zealand Insurance Buildings, Queen street Auckland, the Friday, 16th August 1918, at the hour of n o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, confirming the following resolution, which was passed and adopted at a meeting of the said Council held on Friday, the 12th day of July, 1918. "The Waitemata County Council doth hereby confirm the following resolution that is to say: The Waitemata County Council doth hereby declare that portion of the County of Waitemata described in the Schedule hereto to be a District for the purpose of constructing drainage works therein, and doth fix the boundaries of such district to be those set forth in the said Schedule, and doth assign to such District the name of the "Kaipara Drainage District," and doth hereby fix the 30th day of September 1918, as the date from and after which the said District shall be constituted, and that such special resolution shall operate as a Special Order." SCHEDULE. I ALL THAT AREA in the Auckland Land District, situated in Blocks XIV., Kaipara Survey District, and 111., IV., VI., VII., Kumeu Survey District ; Bounded, commencing at the intersection of the Auckland-Kaipara Railway Reserve, and the left bank of the Kaipara River, towards the North and North-east generally by the left bank of the Kaipara River aforesaid, and across the aforesaid river to and by the Mangakura Road and across that road at its junction with the Mangakura Valley Road, thence by a right line to the North-wost corner of Section 11., Block 111., Kumeu Survey District, by the abutment of a public road, and by that road forming the Eastern boundaries of Sections 1 and 3 of aforesaid Block 111., across a public road and by the road forming the Eastern boundaries of Section 5, Block 111., and Section 1, Block VI., Kumeu Survey District aforesaid ; towards the north-west generally by the abutment of the last mentioned road, by" "Section 2, Block VI., aforesaid, Sections 6 and 7, Block 111. aforesaid, the abutment of a public road, and by Section 9a, Block 111. aforesaid; towards the East generally by the Wharauroa Stream to a point, the production of the Southern boundary of Lot 10, on the plan deposited at the office :°of the District Land Registrar, at Auckland, numbered 9170 ; towards the North generally by a line across the Wharauroa Stream to and-- by. the Southern boundary of Lot 10* 'aforesaid, by Lot 9 on plan 9170 aforesaid, by Lot 1 on plan 8576, deposited as aforesaid, thence across a public road and by that road to and by the Southern boundary of Lot 17 on plan 9170 aforesaid,- and the production of that boundary across the Waikoukou Stream, thence by the left bank of the said stream to a point, the production of the Northern boundary of the last mentioned Lot 17, thence by a right line to the intersection of the production of the Eastern boundary of Lot 15 on plan 5059, deposited as aforesaid, at a point 3000 links distant from the right bank of the Kumeu River ; towards the East to and by the Eastern boundary of Lot 15 aforesaid; towards the South and again towards the East by a public road forming the Northern and Western boundaries of Lots 9 and 10 on plan 5059 aforesaid, to the Auckland-. Kaipara Railway Reserve ; and towards the South and West generally by the Auckland-Kaipara Railway Reserve aforesaid to the point of commencement. A plan of the proposed District haß been .deposited in the offices of the Kaukapakapa Road Board at Kaukapakapa, and the Avondale Road Board at Avondale, and is open for inspection by the public without fee on week days between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., or at suoh hours as may be determined by the said Bodies as office hours.
