ELECTION OF LICENSING

COMMITTEE,

NOTICE OF POLLING.

IN pursuance of " The Legislation Act 1908 " and " The Licensing Act 1908," I, S. URE MACAULAY, Returning Officer for the Licensing District of Kaipara, do hereby give notice that an Election will be held for the return of Five qualified persons to serve as Members of the Licensing Committee for the said district, and a Poll will be taken if necessary, on TUESDAY the 12th day of March, 1918. Every person desirous of be coming a candidate must be nominated by not less than two electors of the district, by a nomination paper as prescribed by section No. 105 of the "Legislature Act 1908," and all Papers must reach me not later than NOON of SATURDAY, the 2nd day of March, 1918. The following are the Polling Places for the Licensing District of Kaipara:— 1 The Courthouse, Dargaville (principal) 2 The Public School, Aranga 3 The Public Hall, Arapohue 4 The Public Hall, Aratapu 5 Mr Thomas' Residence, Bickerstaffe 6 The Town Board, Helensville 7 The Public Hall, Hpanga 8 The Public Hall, Hukatere 9 The Public Hall, Kaihu 10 The Library, Kaj'para Flats 11 The Public Hall; Kaukapakapa 12 The Public Hall, Kumeu 13 The Gumshedl Maropiu 14 The Public Hkll, Matakohe No. 1 15 The Public Naumai 16 The Public $chool, Onetea 17 The Railwgfy Station, Otaraatea 18 The Publi</Hall, Pahi 19 The Public Hall, Paparoa 20 The Druids' Hall, Port Albert 21 The Pub/ie School, Riverhead 22 The Public School, Ruawai 23 The Public Hall, Tangiteroria 24 The P.ublic Hall, Tangawhine 25 The Public Hall, Tatarariki (Mill) 26 The Coronation Hall, Te Kopuru 28 The" Public School, Tutamoe 29 The Public Hall, Wairaauku 30 The Shelter-shed, Wellsford S.
