PROPOSED ENQUIRY.
A MEETING of the ratepayers of the Waitakere Riding of the Waitemata County, was held in the Taupaki Hall, on Friday last. Mr Glasgow occupied the chair. The following resolution was adopted : That the County Council be asked to afford ratepayers a full opportunity of being represented either personally or by Counsel at the proposed enquiry into matters affecting county administration, and to give eyidence. It was further decided to ask that the inquiry be open to the press.
