PRESENT Corns. Lambert (Chairman), H. Graham, H. Aitkenhead, F.W.. Strange, and the Secretary. ; MINUTES Minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. CORRESPONDENCE Outward correspondence was dealt with and approved. Letters were received from the Premier and other Cabinet Ministers and the Northern Member of Parliament, re Hinemoa House being |taken over by the Government. RESOLUTIONS The following resolutions were carried: — Proposed by Cr. Strange and seconded by Cr. Aitkenhead— That a five-blade mower be ordered for the Springs grounds. Proposed by the Chairman and seconded by Cr. Aitkenhead— That the Bowling Greeir be officially opened on Saturday, November 3. Proposed by Cr. Aitkenhead, . seconded by Cr. Graham —That a scow load of shells be ordered to be delivered at the Springs. Creek. . ~, Proposed by . Cr. Aitkenhead,"" seconded by the Chairman—THat grazing of paddock be offered by auction, same to be advertised in local paper one week previously. FINANCE Accounts amounting to £3116s were passed for payment.
