The following letter has been received by Major S. W. Turley, Staff Officer Helensville, from the Auckland Civic League : — Dear Sir, —The Civic League being in charge of a fish and rabbit stall on the 19th of October, " Our Day," we would be exceedingly grateful if you could procure us a few rabbits. The sale is always so brisk that the smallest donation will help.—(Signed) M. Irwin, Hon. Secretary. Persons wishing to send along rabbits kindly address them to Mrs S. V. Irwin, Civic League, Auckland Railway Station (to be called for).
