AWAROA BOWLING CLUB SOCIAL.
The annual social was held in the L
Theatre on Thursday evening last, stfl inst. The weather was anything buM favourable, and this, no doubt, had IS great deal to with the attendance, which was not as large as that of last year.- A musical programme was provided, the following being responsible for the items, which were greatly appreciated :—Mrs and Master Blanchfield, musical selections; Mr R. Screaton, song; Messrs "Williams and Knight, duet; Mrs Bellini, song ; Mr H. White,' song. During the evening the presentation of t.-ophies took place, the winners of which were highly pleased with them. A dainty supper was handed round, after which dancing was resume.!, and altogether a most enjoyable time was spent. Miss M. Cullens presided at the piano, and Messrs Dwerryhouse, Constable, and Smith acted as M's C
