HELENSVILLE TOWN BAND.

A MEETING of the Helensville Town Band was held in the Public Libary on Friday evening last, when there were eight members present. Mr F. LeGrice occupied the chair, and the Secretary (Mr A. J. Hill) reported on the finances of the Band, which showed that they still had a credit balance in hand.. After discussion it was decided to make every effort to keep the Band going, and with this object it was resolved to call applications for the position of cornet player to act as conductor. The applications to be discussed at a meeting to be held at an early date. •
