STOCK SALES. Messrs A. Buckland and Sons' report:— —At Helensville— On Monday we had a good yarding for the time of year. Springers were in ! good demand and sold at high values. Those close to profit brought from £14 10s to £22 10s for the best. Mares, backward and aged, £9 7s 6 i to £13 2s 6d. Empty cows, £7 7s 6d to £9 10s. Fat cows, £8 12s 6d to £1117g 6d. Fat steer, £14 17s 6d. Yearling steers, to £6 ss. Heifers, yearling, £5 12a 6d. Calves, £2 to £5 Is. Fat ewes, £1 Bs. The pedigree Jersey cows realised from 19 to 21 guineas, and the bul 14 guineas.
