BARTON'S NEW CIRCUS.
We have again to announce that Messrs Barton Bros' circus will visit Helensville on Saturday, May 12th. Thd touring manager has been very busy making arrangements for the opening of the big circus. The programme is a long and varied one, embracing as it does some thrilling and sensational performances. There will be a street parade of the performers, headed byBandmaster McGuir.
The Poverty Bay Herald says:— ""A great welcome was given to the performers on the opening of the Gisborne season last night, there being such a crowded attendance that late comers had to be content with '^standing room •only. A real good circus programme was given, with plenty of fun and vanaty and the applause was freqnent and most enthusiastic."
It is claimed that those who attend will spend a pleasant and enjoyable evening, and lovers of good, clean sport will enjoy the wild west and bucking horses, ponies and donkeys, ridden by local Fiders.
Messrs Barton Bros emphasise that they have no connection with any other circus in the Dominion, and that Ihe full company will positively appear on ' Saturday.
