LYRIC PICTURES.
Friday—Charlie Chaplin, the artist who draws a salary of £150,000 a year, will be shown in latest Mutual comedy, " The Fireman," which is claimed to be the most laughable creation of his entire career. The big fighting drama, " The White Hope," by the famous author W H. Troubridge, and a big supporting programme will also be screened.
Saturday—Something very special in the way of a comic picture will be screened, The management wish to impress upon their patrons that they have never before seen anything quite so funny as the adventures of Fatty and Mabel in " Fatty and Mabel Adrift." Two good dramas in " Ophelia " and " The Butterfly's Lesson," and other fine items will be shown.
Tuesday—"The Girl of the Golden West," a particularly well-acted drama, the principal parts being taken by Mabel Van Buren, House Peters and Theodore Roberts The play ran through this country some six years Jago with Miss Tittel Brune as the " Girl." Although of the Wild West type, the story is a classic.
