Two cheques of £90 4s 5d each/^ were handed over to the_respective secretaries of the fielensville andParakai Women's Patriotic Leagues. A special vote of thanks was accorded to the Auckland Highland Reserve Unit, for the valuable services rendered by them in making the Carnival such a success.
