IN viewof the necessity to conserve the Railway cokl stocks, a drastic curtailment of passenger and goods train services will be brought into operation (if the coal strike still continues) -on MONDAY, 23rd|April, 1917. The travelling public are strongly urged to avail themselves of the opportunity permitted by < the continuation of the present full jservice to complete journeys before SUNDAY, 22nd April, as after that date and until further notice, travelling facilities will be strictly limited to the barest necessities. Booklets containing particulars of the proposed time-table will be obtainable at all stations at an early date. The goods services will be limited strictly to the absolute minimum required to provision the different localities. The traffic to be. carried will be limited to general merchandise, foodstuffs, perishable articles, firewood, mining props, chaff, wool for shipment, livestock required, shooks for fruit, butter and cheese boxes, coal, coke and natural manures.
