STOCK SALES

The North Auckland Farmers' Co-op-Limited, report:— —At Helensville — On the 13th inst., there was a record yarding, and 750 head of mixed cattle and 730 sheep changed hands at good prices. Dairy cows brought up to £15 15s; beef cows £14 14s ; bulls £18 18s ; store cows, irom £6 to £10 10s, according to quality. There was a big yarding of calves, which were of good quality, and brought from £5 to £5 15s ; inferior sorts went a little easier. Sheep went at good prices, Store wethers brought from 30s to 32s 6d ; 2tooth ewes, 35s ; ewes changed hands at usual prices. A line of 26 store pi«s made 30s.
