THE KAIPARA AND WAITEMATA ECHO WITCH WHICH IS INCORPORATED "THE KAIPARA ADVERTISER & WAITEMATA CHRONICLE." HELENSVILLE. Thursday. Jan. 18, 1917. THE NORTHERN TOUR
The North of Auckland has suffered greatly in the past from the ignorance of the people of the Dominion as to its character and resources. The chief of its drawbacks is the general absence of good roadmetal, io which absence is due the inaccessibility of many promising peninsular districts during the wet season. Those aocustomed to the soils and conditions of other parts of the Dominion will learn that successful agriculture is not confined to any envirenment, an 4 will rß fcurn familiar with the facts upon whicl* TFP t^e our oonft4§ncp in the peat future of the " roadless Nor-th." The North of Auckland only needs to be understood to be appreciated, and a better underI standing cannot fail to follow uppn tftis $nelf..-pjanned tour of inspection fcv a" t^QUQugijfy representative, patty.
